Description
This interesting grunge art piece came straight from my heart. How can anyone see the situation in America in regards to race relations and not be moved? The hate has to stop! Period. A nation at war with itself cannot progress. People without understanding of eachother and their needs cannot grow. I believe every person comes into this life with soul lessons. And while those soul lessons might not be the same for everyone, we all walk a path to understand ourselves and others as we live our lives. Every life begins with sperm and egg and a miraculous spark of life from God/The Universe. Each person is different by divine plan. But there are universal truths we must come to grips with to progress on our soul journeys: how to understand and empathize with others, how to laugh, cry, how to look deeply into ourselves and recognize the good and bad and to always be walking towards the light of death as we age and become wiser. The greatest gift you can give to another human being is love and understanding. That being said, we come to this piece of art. Black and white figures are symbolically set against stark paths surrounded by the colors and beauty (although imperfect and flawed) of life. We are flawed. Life isn't easy. The grunge finish that covers all the images denotes our struggles to be whole, to be loving. The pathways in the art flow upward to the left corner, the same destination that will converge upon the end of our earthly sojourns. Together in the light of the Universe, to examine our progress, our failures and our paths for growth. Hopefully we learned something.
