This wonderful metallic abstract is called "Steel" and it has the demeanor and attitude of cold, highly polished steel - shiny, embossed, shaded, gleaming, hard. This work has a definite masculine feeling with an architectural bent. The background is a series of digitally hand constructed lines in various straight angles. The shading which is applied in sections is a pure grey gradient that is lined up facing different directions for interest. The final digital effect is a wonderful metallic effect that adds some depth and embossing to the lines and a wonderful sheen to the work. My name is Diane and I currently reside in a suburb of Orlando, FL, USA. I create all of my art on a laptop using a variety of construction techniques.
