Description
This wonderful fractal composition has a stark black background for maximum contrast. The focal point of the art is a wonderful multi-layer fractal assembly that has been initially recolored with some horizontal color striping in tones of beige, cocoa, and taupy gray. The star of the show is a digital effect called Temaki Uzumaki. This effect does some really cool and unexpected things! First off, it morphs the design a bit. Then it adds some wonky outlining and shading. And lastly, it takes the whole shebank and adds a bunch of swirls and curliques! For some reason, every time I use this effect it reminds me of traditional African tribal designs, especially in the beige/black colors used in this piece. I fell in love with this image as it evolved and am proudly placing it into my "artist's favorite" folder. Enjoy!
