This absolutely fantastic monochrome abstract is a wild visual trip of pattern and shading. The background of the piece is a digitally hand created series of vertical stripes created in various widths and with the gradients placed both horizontally and vertically within the stripes. The gradients are then digitally morphed and warped to create an undulation and flow of shading and light. The final layer is a topper of a fun digital "tire tread" design that has been run through multiple effects to further merge it into the shaded background. When you visually put it all together, you end up with a wonderful mesmerizing image that is both pleasing and interesting. This art has a wonderful quality that draws you in and makes it very hard to look away. I fell in love with the NYC cool attitude of this piece and am definitely placing it into my "artist's favorite" folder. Enjoy!
