This wonderful circular abstract series consists of using custom gradients, digital hand work and layering and a digital effect in Photoshop called Liquify. The degree of liquification determines how fine the design becomes. As I began fooling around with this effect, I fell in love with the digital effects on gradients and the development of just one piece of art as a background, turned into unique and wonderful pieces of abstract art in a series of eleven. The gradient tones range all over the spectrum from beige and earth tones to vivid neons to one done in soft muted pastels. Scroll through them all and enjoy the fun presented in this series.
My name is Diane and I currently reside in a suburb of Orlando, FL, USA. I create all of my art on a laptop using a variety of construction techniques. These techniques incorporate digital freehand drawing and composition, photo collage, custom fractal assemblies, and digital enhancements and effecting.
