There is something magical about human hands; whether they reach out for eachother, crave touching, connection, or are simply a representation of our ability to do wonderful things with them. Throughout history hands have had a representation in art to portray our connection to eachother. I started working on a base art piece that featured hands of different colors layered over one another and fell in love with the image that evolved and ended up doing two pieces of artwork from it. This one "Hands Of Love Around The World" builds on the original image by featuring it in the center and spinning bold colors around it. The colors used are red, blue, green, purple, yellow, teal, turquoise, brown and black. The original image "Hands of Love", features the hand motif in larger scale from edge to edge of the artwork. Both have visual appeal and symbolic beauty. If you are a fan of human beings as a connected species, sharing, loving, and growing together, either of these artworks would be a wonderful choice to brighten your walls.
