This interesting abstract came into being as I continued to watch television coverage of the January 6 insurrection plotted by our former president in an effort to overthrow the American democratic government. The colors in the piece are bold, aggressive and bright - red, blue, black, yellow, pink, aqua, and every shade in between. The art is presented in hard, straight brushstrokes and the digital effecting applied overall accentuates the hard composition and definition. This was a tragic day for America and this art is a way for me to work through my anger at the horrid regime that attempted to end democracy in America forever. This art is strong, powerful and yet lacks a united cohesion of design. If you love modern art and are seeking a piece in these colors, this would be an excellent choice to add a wild focal point to your home or office.
